It never rained when we were together. Laughter and sunshine was the rule of the day. I will miss you dreadfully, Jackie, my dear sister. My thoughts and prayers go out to her children, Carolyn, Andrea, Rowan, and their families. Love, Alsie.

My Aunt Jackie is fondly remembered, when I was a child, she hauled us all 11 cousins, to the beach on Summer holidays. We all had sandy tomato sandwiches and Squash in yoghurt cups. But what fun! The kids all ran on the dunes and played with her boxer Rudy. We looked for sticklebacks while the aunts chattered away. She was so fun and vivacious. A mum to us all really. She didn't mind us kiddies coming back all sticky from lollipops and wet with salt water. She rolled with it. She had a grand sense of humor and warmth. She had a beautiful garden in back with gooseberries and rhubarb and made the best pies. At night, she had us say our prayers for all. May God hold my lovely aunt in the palm of his hand. My heart goes out to her children, my cousins and their families. Peace.
