DOORLY, Rosemary (née Christie) (Mount Merrion, Co Dublin) December 5, 2021. Peacefully, under the wonderful care of the staff at the Caritas unit in St Vincent’s Hospital and in the presence of her loving family. Recently predeceased by her son Stephen. Rosemary will be sadly and greatly missed by her beloved husband John, sons Michael, Chris, Owen, Richard, Fergus and Declan and daughter Mary, grandchildren Frederico, Jack, Kate, Isobel, Sophie, Alex, Emily, Hazel, Brian and Heather, daughters-in-law Rita, Valentina, Sibéal, Niamh and Geraldine, son-in-law Fergal, her sister Lydia, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in lieu to Saint Vincent de Paul. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for funeral Mass at 11.30 which may be viewed on the parish web camera at the following link: https://www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/ followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.
DOORLY - Rosemary (Mount Merrion, Co Dublin) - Greatly missed, as we lovingly remember Rosemary on the occasion of the First Anniversary of her death on December 5, 2021 her husband John, her sons Michael, Chris, Owen, Richard, Fergus, Declan, daughter Mary, daughters-in-law son-in-law would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness, love and support shown to us at the time of Rosemary’s death and since. We also remember Stephen at this time. To those who sent flowers, letters, cards, left messages of condolences and shared stories which were all a great comfort we thank you. We also thank Fr Joe Mullan who concelebrated the Mass along with Fr Martin Cosgrave, Fr Ciaran O'Mahony and our Jesuit friends Fr Noel Barbour, Fr Peter Sexton and Fr Donal Neary (she would have been impressed) at the Church of St Therese. We thank all the medics in St Vincent’s University Hospital and Caritas who cared for her. Please accept this Acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude and appreciation.
