PAYNE - Robert (Roy), Torboy, Moydow, Co. Longford and late of Ballymoe. January 4, 2025, aged eighty-five years, passed away peacefully in the care of Regional Hospital Mullingar surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Alice and much loved father of John, Robert, Ellen and Miriam. Predeceased by his sister Betty Edgill. Sadly missed by his brother Jimmy and his sisters Dora, Jane and Anne, daughter-in-law Jasmin, son-in-law Alasdair and Ling. Greatly loved by his grandchildren Alexander, Evalina, Arrabella and Beth. Also sadly missed by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. Reposing at his home in Torboy House (N39 NW61) on today (Monday) from 3pm - 6pm. All other times the house will be private. Funeral service tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon at St George's Church, Keenagh, Co. Longford. Burial afterwards in Moydow Cemetery.
