O'MALLEY - Terry (Terence George Knight) (Ballyfad, Gorey, Co. Wexford and Bray, Co. Wicklow) - We remember Terry, who died on December 6, 2021 (a month before his 80th birthday). His family, Pat (his wife), Kate, Clare, Lucy and Jamie (his children), their spouses, his 8 grandchildren, his

sister Barbara, his niece and nephews all miss his kindness, wisdom, love of music and sport, his sense of humour and adventure. We would like to thank and acknowledge all the kind people who attended or viewed his funeral, and

the very many people who sent messages of sympathy to us and have supported us during the last year. We would also like to thank the many people who, with family members, helped us to care for Terry at home. Professor John

Crown and Dr. Osama Salib and their cheerful teams of nurses, the Wicklow Hospice, the wonderful Wexford Palliative Care nurses, our Carers: Ann, Carol and Sarah and especially Terry's good friend, Dr. Tom Kennedy, who was

a constant rock for all of us. Terry spent the last 25 years of his life helping the, often forgotten, people of Afghanistan. His main concern was for the education of girls and help for women who needed shelter. His family, along with the Trustees of S.A F.E. (Support Afghan Further

Education) decided to continue Terry's work, which at this time is ongoing. The new website is: www.sae.ie .
