MacWEENEY DOBBS - Leslie Artist, art educator, and community activist with notable careers in both Ireland and the United States, sadly died, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her home in Stoneham, Massachusetts, age 90 years. By her side in her last weeks were her devoted son, Adam Dobbs; also her brother, Alen MacWeeney; her former husband, Paul Dobbs; and her friend, Kathleen McAvoy. Leslie will be terribly missed by her cousins, Conchita Navarro, Trinidad Navarro and Toni Delaney; and so many friends, relatives, students and colleagues on both sides of the Atlantic. A Memorial Celebration for Leslie is planned for June.
