FitzSimon, Richard (Dick) (Cabinteely, Dublin 18, formerly of Rathgar, Dublin 6, Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club and former Captain of Carrickmines Golf Club) January 18, 2023. Suddenly but peacefully, at his home. Beloved husband of Brigid and loving father of Susan, Linda, Mark and Meriel. Sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, sons-in-law Jonathan, Pre and Des, Mark's partner Vicki, grandchildren Ansuya, Roshan and Leo, brother John, extended family and friends. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place at 2.00pm today (Monday) afternoon, in Tullow Parish Church, Brighton Road, Carrickmines, D18 RF79. The Service will be streamed using the following link: https://www.churchservices.tv/tullowcarrickmines No flowers please. Donations if desired online to St. Michael’s House at www.smh.ie “A True Gentleman”

I enjoyed very much working with Richard many years ago. He was a real gentleman with a great sense of humour. My condolences go to all the family. Remembering him at this time.

A true gentleman indeed, he will be missed by all who knew him. He lived life to the full and went out in the best way just a few days after his last game of golf. Monica and I are sorry to be so far away. Lots of love to Brígid and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
