HUGHES, John F. (Goatstown, Dublin 14) - (peacefully) 18th August 2024, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of his darling Joan and much loved father of Paul, Joannie, Mark, Tina, Helen, Trish, Hillary and Barbara. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Gay and Thérèse, sons-in-law Job, Eugene, Colin, Dave and Barry, his nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, especially those at Grange Golf Club and his former colleagues in Greencore (previously Irish Sugar). Rest in Peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Main Street, Dundrum tomorrow (Wednesday) from 3.00 to 5.00 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am, followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society. House private.
