FORSYTHE - John (January 7, 2026) (Templeogue, D. 6W, formerly of Belfast). Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Ladys Hospice & Care Services, Harolds Cross. Beloved husband of Mairéad (née Lynch), loving and much-loved father of Rory and Laura. John will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife, son and daughter, daughter-in-law Barbara, his adored grandsons Oliver and Alastair, his sister Diana and niece Fiona, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends especially those in the Mountaineering Community.

Reposing at his Residence on Monday evening from 6pm - 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross for service at 10am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Our Ladys Hospice & Care Services, Harolds Cross and Mourne Mountain Rescue Team. All enquiries to Massey Bros., Templeogue Village (01) 490 7601.
