MURRAY, The Hon. Mr. Justice John L. Murray, former Chief Justice and judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Greystones, Co.Wicklow, formerly of Limerick - January 18th, 2023, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Most beloved husband of Gabrielle (née Walsh), loving father of Catriona and Brian, adored grandfather of Samuel, Anna, Sarah, Kate, Chloe, Conor and Matthew. Sadly missed by his brothers Michael, Hugh and Eugene, son-in-law David O'Brien, daughter-in-law Leonora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral Mass on Monday January 23rd at 11:30am in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones (which can be viewed on the following link https://gkpastoralarea.ie/online/), after which he will be laid to rest in Priestnewtown Cemetery, Kilquade.
