HAYES - Sr. Monica (Mona) (Irishtown, Mountmellick, Co. Laois and Newton, Massachusetts, USA) died peacefully in her 101st year on September 5, 2021. Youngest daughter of Patrick and Brigid Hayes. Predeceased by her siblings Ita Dunphy, John and James. Mona will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and her Franciscian Missionary Sisters. On Friday, September 10, visitation in the Chapel of Mount Alvernia Convent was followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Massachusetts.
