HANLEY Robert (Bobby) (Lissyclearig, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, formerly the Landsdowne Arms Hotel Kenmare) died August 11, 2014. Treasured memories of a beloved husband, father and grandfather. On this the first anniversary of Bobby's death, his wife Breda, son Patrick, daughter-in-law Aileen and three grandchildren wish to express our very sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to all those who travelled from near and far to attend the Rosary, removal, Requiem Mass and burial. To those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. Many thanks to our extended families, wonderful friends and neighbours for their great support. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses and staff and The Bons, Kenmare and Tralee Palliative Care for the wonderful attention and care shown to Bobby. A very sincere thanks to Dr. Rory O'Driscoll and his team at Kenmare Medical Centre for their dedication, medical care and wonderful friendship shown to Bobby over the years. Thanks also to Dr. Bird, Oncologist at The Bons Hospital in Cork. To Fr. Tom Creen, Fr. Martin Sheehan and Fr. Patsy Foley celebrant and life-long school friend for a beautiful Mass and a very special tribute to Bobby's life. To all who participated in the Mass, readers, Patrick for his eulogy and the singers. Thank you to the sacristan, gravediggers and Connors Funeral Directors of Kenmare. Thank you to Kenmare Guards, the Carnegie for their guard of honour and also to Kenmare Choir. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Forever loved and sadly missed by your wife Breda, son Patrick, daughter-in-law Aileen, grandchildren Grace, Emilie and Moya, sisters Mary and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.
