HOLLAND, Valerie (née McGreal) - January 24, 2024, peacefully in the company of her loving family while in the tender care of the doctors and nurses at Our Lady’s Hospice, Blackrock. Forever missed by her beloved partner John Kennedy and his family and her children Fiona, Ronan and Orna, sons-in-law Donal and Clifden her treasured grandchildren James, Farrah, Riley and Scarlett, her sister Nuala, brother Paul, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Valerie will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum (D14 F3X2) from 5pm to 7 pm today (Thursday). A celebration of life Service will take place in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross (D6W HY98), tomorrow (Friday) at 3:15 pm followed by cremation.

A time to say thanks to everyone who helped ease the pain of losing you, and to pay tribute to your legion of friends and neighbours; to the staff at Slievemore Clinic, at the Beacon Hospital, at St. James's Hospital and Our Lady's Hospice Blackrock; to wonderful Community Care Teams, Ambulance Crews and all who became part of our daily lives during your final dreadful months. You are an unforgettable hero. Amor vincit omnia. John.
