COLGAN (Cork and Dublin) - September 20, 2012, peacefully in the solicitous care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Marymount Hospice, Curraheen, Cork. Karen, North Mall, Cork and late of Kilmacud, Dublin. Beloved daughter of Kieran and Esther and loving sister of Cliodhna, Gareth and Niall and his wife Peggy. Deeply missed by her loving partner Bob (James) Crowley, relatives and friends and especially her colleagues at Cork A.R.C. Cancer Support House. Removal from Marymount Hospice Curraheen, Cork today (Friday) at 6.00pm to the Holy Family Church, Military Hill, Cork. Requiem Mass tomorrow, (Saturday) at 12.00 noon followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co Cork. Memorial Mass on Saturday, September 29 at 11 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady, Blessington, Co. Wicklow followed by burial of ashes in Burgage Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to A.R.C. COLGAN Karen (Cork and Dublin, Died September 20, 2012). Karen's parents, Kieran and Esther, her sister Cliodhna, her brothers Gareth and Niall, sister-in-law Peggy, and Karen's partner James (Bob) Crowley, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the death of our beloved Karen. Special thanks to the medical staff at University College Hospital, Cork, Marymount Hospice, Curraheen, Cork, Cork ARC Cancer Support House, O'Donavan Rossa Road, Cork, and the Capuchin Community in Cork and Dublin. We greatly appreciate all the help and support of Karen's many friends and say a sincere thank you to all who attended her funeral Mass in Cork and in Blessington, Co. Wicklow. Finally we are grateful for the kindness, friendship and help which we continue to receive and the understanding shown by everyone of the huge loss suffered by our family on the death of Karen. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
