MOLONEY - Paddy - as we remember Paddy on his first anniversary (October 12, 2022), his wife Rita, children Aonghus, Aedín and Pádraig along with his grandchildren Ciarán, Aonghus, Fionn and Mieke and our extended family, wish to thank most sincerely all those who attended Paddy’s funeral including President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina, The Chieftains and fellow musicians who played at the Mass, An Garda Síochána who escorted him from Dublin to Glendalough, the local Gardaí in Glendalough, the school children from Roundwood and Laragh who formed guards of honour for Paddy with their tin whistles and the many fans of Paddy from all around the world who watched his funeral online. Finally, to the thousands who have sent letters and Mass cards and to those who have helped us in the last year – we will always be grateful as we try to mend our broken hearts.
