DOWNES, J Neil (Milltown, Dublin) - December 28, 2021, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of Ailesbury Nursing Home, Sandymount. Loved and sadly missed by his wife Florence (Ryan) sons Eugene and David. Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces, relations, friends, and his former architectural students and colleagues in UCD and DIT. Funeral has taken place privately with burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery, Co Dublin. A gathering to celebrate Neil’s life will take place at a later date. Requiescat in pace.

Sincere condolences to Florence, Eugene and family on Neil's passing. I have good memories of Neil from many years ago when we played music together on Saturday evenings chez Cathal Gannon, maker of keyboard instruments, Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.
