MORAN (née Barry) Colette (Convent Road, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Cloverhill House, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, Retired Vice-Principal, St. Joseph's Secondary School, Ballaghaderreen) - January 14, 2018, (peacefully), in her 89th year, surrounded by her family and in the kind and gentle care of the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Vincent and loving mother of Michele, Barry, Andrea and the late Rhona, loving mother-in-law of Paul and Paula. Devoted and much loved grandmother of Conall and Shane, Conor and James. Dear sister of the late Padraic and the late Dolores. She will be very sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends, former colleagues and past pupils. May She Rest In Peace. Colette will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen today (Tuesday) from 5.30pm. Removal at 7.30pm to St. Aidan's Church, Monasteraden arriving at 8 pm. Mass of the Resurrection tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am followed by interment in Kilcolman Cemetery. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis. Family flowers only, please. Roscommon wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the sad loss of our dearly beloved mother, Colette. We thank all Colette's friends, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues and past pupils who sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, so many letters and expressions of fond remembrance, and attended her repose and funeral - many travelling long distances. Sincere thanks to Father Gavigan and Father Kivlehan for their support and celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass. Sincere thanks also to Sharkey Funeral Directors. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Colette's first Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on the 14 January at 10.00am at St. Nathy's Cathedral, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon.
