MACSHANNON - Eithne (Née Brady) Passed away peacefully 12th April 2026 at Maryland nursing home. Beloved daughter of the late Jim and Josie, and sister of the late Cormac. A loving and much loved mother of her children Jacqui, Ian, Denise, Niall and Jennie. Dear Mother-in-law of Graham, Claire, Ivan, Kirsty and Richard and adoring grandmother of Joe, Aoife, Eve, Saoirse, Cormac, Niamh, Gráinne, Orla, Eoin, Nessa, Oscar and Pierce. Cherished companion of John D Moore. Mourned by a wide circle of family and friends including those of her late former husband John McShannon. Eithne will be reposing at OKanes Funeral Home, 2 St Judes Avenue, BT7 2GZ until Wednesday 15th April at 5pm, when she will return to her late family home on St Johns Avenue, BT7 3HA. A celebration of Eithnes life will be held at Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau road, BT7 3GR on Thursday 16th April at 12noon followed by cremation at Roselawn crematorium on Friday 17th April at 4pm.
