KENNEDY, Mary (née Byrne) (Upper Rosses, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo) - January 24th 2024, peacefully, surrounded by her family, in the loving care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital. Past Lady President and Lady Captain of County Sligo Golf Club. Predeceased by her parents John and Martha, her brothers John and Joe, her sister Breda and son-in-law Cornelius. Beloved wife of Michael and dearly loved mother of Philip, Eileen (Carr) and Margaret (Deegan) and mother-in-law of Humphrey. Proud grandmother of Nora, Michael, Cormac, John, Laura, James and Molly. Sadly missed by her brothers Sylvester, Terry, Paddy, Gerald, sisters Kitty, Norah and Eileen, brothers and sisters-in-law. Remembered with love by her nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo (F91EH98) on (Thursday) January 25th from 5:30pm until 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on (Friday) January 26th in Saint Columba’s Church, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo at 11am, followed by burial in Rathcormac Cemetery.
