SWEENEY, Martin (Rathfarnham and late of Beltra, Co. Sligo) - September 19, 2015 (peacefully) after a short illness surrounded by his loving family. Will be very sadly missed by his wife Kay, sons Eugene, Alex and Kenneth, daughters-in-law, his eight adoring grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff in St. James's Hospital. Reposing in his residence today (Monday) from 2 o'c to 4 o'clock prior to his removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham due 6 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 10 o'c Mass to Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Peter McVerry Trust.

SWEENEY, Martin, (September 19, 2015) - As we approach the First Anniversary of Martin's death his wife Kay, sons Eugene, Alex and Kenneth and brothers Raymond and Harold would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us at that time. To all who attended his funeral Mass and burial, and those who sent Mass cards and letters. Special thanks to Father Noone, parish Priest and Father Kevin Rowan. To Father O'Hora and all who travelled from Sligo and elsewhere. To the staff of Dublin Fire Brigade Ambulance Service and Martin's carers Margaret and Lorraine. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.May he Rest in Peace.
