CAREY Martin (Booterstown, Co. Dublin and late Partner in A & D Wejchert. Architects) January 28, 2013, in the Blackrock Hospice, (peacefully) after a long illness, bravely borne. Beloved husband of the late Maura and loving father of Helen and Patrick. Sadly missed by his family, his mother Anne, his sisters Angela, Joanne and Christine, brothers Paul, John and Peter, his mother-in-law Imelda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially Siobhán. Rest in Peace. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) evening to the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Ave., arriving at 5.00 pm. Funeral on Friday after 10.00 am. Mass to Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice.
CAREY Martin (Dad's First Anniversary, January 28) - Martin's children Helen and Patrick together with Dad's family the Careys' and our late Mum's family the Breathnach/Walshs' would like to thank all those who cared for Dad and were so kind to him during his illness and were so supportive of him since the death of his beloved wife Maura. To Dr Rawluk and his team at Beaumont Hospital and most particularly Blackrock Hospice who provided such care and comfort to Dad. To his colleagues at A & D Wejchert Architects, his great friends, and wonderful neighbours for their unending support. To our Grannies Annie and Imelda, all our aunts and uncles, particularly Dad's sister Angela, his brother Paul and Mum's sister Siobhan we cannot tell you how much we appreciate all the wonderful care you have shown to us throughout Dad's illness. Our sincere thank-you to all who attended the removal, Requiem Mass and burial especially all those who travelled long distances to be with us, and to those who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy and donated money to the hospice. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Martin's 1st Anniversary mass will take place on Sunday, February 2 at 12 noon in Church of the Assumption, Booterstown. Lovingly remembered today and always.
