O'BEIRNE - Tony (Anthony), Clontarf, Dublin. Died September 27, 2025. Tony's wife Geraldine, his children Emma, Rachael and Tony, would like to extend their sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and support shown to them throughout their recent loss. A huge thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home and all those who attended Tony's funeral mass, especially his cousins, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and friends, who travelled long distances to pay their respects. Thank you to those who sent mass cards, letters, condolences online and text messages, and for the many stories shared about his life. Thank you to Prof. Breathnach, and his team in the Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, all the staff in the Mater Hospital who cared for Tony in his final weeks, and to his care team in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny for all their kindness and support shown to Tony during his illness. A special word of thanks to his long-time friend, Dr. Paddy Kelly, whose constant presence, kindness and support meant so much to Tony and our family throughout the course of his illnesses. Thank you to all at Staffords Funeral Home, Portmarnock, especially Donal who helped us greatly on the day, and ensured Tony got the send-off he so warmly deserved! As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude. A Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
