CHALLONER, (née Keogh), Bernadette (late of Raheny) – November 27th, 2023 (peacefully) in her 100th year, having lived a full and independent life. Wife of the late Patrick and beloved mother of Rita (Gallagher), Monica (Challoner) and Dympna (Foley). Deeply regretted and very sadly missed by her family, her son-in-law Gabriel, grandchildren Oscar, Conan, Enda, Dáire, Killian and Bronwyn, great-grandchildren Oisín, Noah, Amy and Senan, her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Brigid’s Church, Killester, arriving for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass, with Funeral thereafter to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.

of our dear mother Bernie’s first anniversary, we her daughters, Rita, Monica and Dympna

would like to sincerely thank all who supported and sympathised with us, joined us in the funeral

home and at Bernie’s Funeral Mass in person or online and for the many lovely messages,

cards, and letters of condolence we received. Special thanks to Fr. John Kelly and Fr Joseph

Whelan for their lovely celebration of the funeral Mass. We would also like to thank Kirwan’s

Funeral Home in Fairview for their kind support in organising the funeral.
