McGUINNESS - Eleanor née Joyce, Knoxpark, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo and formerly of Foxford Co. Mayo, August 8, 2025, unexpectedly at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard (Dick) and her cherished brothers Tommie, Walter, Fr. Michael, Anthony, sister-in-law Marie, niece Maeve, nephew Stephen. Deeply mourned by her daughter Jennifer Currid (Joe), her sons Brendan (Dymphna), Myles (Martina), her eight Grandchildren, Mark, Jean, Alex, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Ella, Roishe, Michael, her sister-in-law Phil, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her residence F91 TR64, today (Monday) from 4pm until 8pm and tomorrow (Tuesday) from 2pm until 6pm with removal to Saint Brigids Church, Corhownagh, Ballisodare, F91 RH70 arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday followed by burial in Scarden Cemetery, Strandhill Road, Sligo. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on
