Battelle, V. Rev. John Canon Patrick (Paddy) P.E., (St. John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer) - January 29, 2012 (peacefully after a brief illness) in the loving care of the staff in St. Vincent's University Hospital. Beloved brother of Laurie, Jim and Eileen, brother-in-law of Jim, Pauline and John, adored uncle of John, Anne, Brenda, Brian, Celine, Paul, Paula, Mark and Emer, and his twenty-three grandnieces and grandnephews. Deeply regretted by his family, nieces and nephews-in-law, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, his classmates, the Priests of the Diocese and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the Oratory, St. John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer from 12.00 noon today (Tuesday). Removal to the Main Church at 7.30 o'c this (Tuesday) evening. Concelebrated Requiem Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12.00 o'c followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery."Requiescat in Pace"
