GAUGHAN, John, (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) January 26, 2023.Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Madeleine, adored Dad of David, Stephen and Derval, and loving granddad of Michelle, Aoife, Tom, Zoe, Rebecca and Amy; sadly missed by his sisters Pat and Kay, son-in-law Brian and daughter-in-law Roisin, extended family and friends. Reposing at Massey Brothers Funeral Home, Newtown Park, Blackrock today (Monday) January from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 10.00am in Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross. For those who cannot attend the service you can view the mass live. Links available on RIP.ie. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. May he Rest in Peace
GAUGHAN - John (Blackrock). A much loved husband, dad and grandad. On the First Anniversary of John’s death, Madeleine, David, Stephen, Derval, his grandchildren and his extended family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us in our great loss. We wish to thank all those who attended the funeral home and funeral Mass, in particular those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you for your Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy. We thank the priests of Guardian Angels Church, in particular Fr Dermot Leycock for the moving funeral ceremony. Please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to you all.
