WHELAN, Colin (Terenure, Dublin) August 15, 2018 (unexpectedly) Much loved son of Philip and Karen, loving brother of Graham, Gillian and Katy, adored uncle of Adam, Emma, Harry, Ryan and Toby. Very deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Gillian, his sisters’ partners David and Niall, Uncles, Aunts, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon from 4.00 o’c until 6.00 o’c with family in attendance. Reposing at his own home on Sunday afternoon from 4.00 o’c until 7.00 o’c. Removal on Monday morning to Terenure College Chapel arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00 o’c and then to the Crematorium at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. No flowers please. WHELAN Colin (Terenure, Dublin) died August 15, 2018. On the First Anniversary of our beloved son Colin. Parent's Philip and Karen . his brother Graham, sister's Gill and Kay, sister-in-law Gilly, Dave and Niall, his niece and nephew's. Would like to express our heartfelt thanks to his close and extensive group of friends, his supportive relatives, neighbours and all those whose paths crossed with Colin and who sympathised with us during this difficult year and for their love and continued support. We wish to thank everyone who attended Colin's funeral. Special thanks to fr. Eanna. Fr. Brian and fr. Michael and the Carmelite Community in Terenure College and also those who gave very generous donations to Pieta House. Colin lived his short life to the full and had a wonderful circle of friends who along with his family loved and cared for and miss him dearly. His memory and his music will live forever in our hearts.
