DONLON, Phelim (formerly of the Arts Council), - December 14, 2014, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, with great dignity, in the exceptional care of the staff of the Blackrock Hospice. He will be greatly missed by his wife Pat, daughters Lorna and Sinead, son-in-law Paul, and Ger and his grandchildren Eva, Ruth, Hannah, Emma and Paddy. Greatly loved by his sisters Sheilagh, and Eileen (pre-deceased), his brother Michael and brothers-in-law Frank and Ted. Arriving at St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock for 5pm today, Monday. Funeral Mass at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery."Now cracks a noble heart.

DONLON Phelim died December 14, 2014. On the occasion of his First Anniversary, his wife Pat and daughters Lorna and Sinead would like to thank our family, friends, neighbours, and Phelim's colleagues from the theatre and arts community in Ireland for their unstinting support during his illness and their kindness and sympathy following his death. Thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us and those who sent letters and messages of tribute and sympathy. Special thanks go to the staff of the Blackrock Hospice, and to all who helped make this removal, funeral and Month's Mind ceremonies so beautiful, and suitably fitting for the drama officer. He is greatly missed."The best portion of a good man's life:
his little, nameless unremembered
acts of kindness and love."
