DE GROOT, Edward (Blackrock, Co.Dublin) - February 27, 2019 (Peacefully) at St. James's Hospital. Beloved husband of Colma and loving father of Nelius, Colma, Ailbhe and Catherine, and brother of the late Frank ; very sadly missed by his brothers John, Harry and Jim, daughter-in-law and sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue followed by private cremation. House strictly private. Family flowers only. All enquiries to Massey Bros. DE GROOT Edward - On the week of his First Anniversary, Edward's wife Colma, children Nelius, Colma, Ailbhe and Catherine, grandchildren and extended family would like to thank most sincerely those who attended his funeral and have supported and sympathised with us over the last year. Special thanks to Edward's wonderful G.P. Dr. Peter Staunton and all the staff at St. James's Hospital, especially the COAG team and Dr. Enda O'Connor of the HDU.
