FORBES, (née Hanley), Carmel (Rathfarnham and formerly of Goatstown, Dublin), June 5, 2022, peacefully, after a long illness, bravely fought, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of John Houston Ward at St James’s Hospital and Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife of Paul, loving mother of Alan, Susanne, Danielle, Julie-Anne, Kristina and partners Derek, Graham and Andrew, and adored Nana of Alannah, Darcy, Baxter and Zoe. Sadly missed by her family, brothers Peter and Philip, sisters Colette and Michele, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Removal on Friday morning (June 10) to the Church of The Divine Word, Marley Grange arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome.
