MULLEN, Frances (née Muldoon) Oldcastle Co. Meath - July 8, 2015 (unexpectedly) at her home Church Street Oldcastle late of Cogan Street Oldcastle. Beloved wife of the dearly missed Michael and wonderful Mum to Siobhan, Patrick, Declan, Bairbre, Vincent and Niall. Sister to Helen, Declan and Fergus and the late Sean, Patricia, Jim and Genevive. Devoted grandmother to Fiachra, Sorcha, Aoife, Caoimhe, Niamh, Leah, Max, Ruby, Jude, Conor, Aodan, Lucy and Sonny. Sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, daughters-in-law, Orla, Lesley, Aideen, Siobhan and Petrina, son-in-law Mark, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Also will be sadly missed by a wide circle of friends at home and abroad, her amazing neighbours and the many extended family and friends who have been so supportive over the past two years. Reposing at her home from 3pm to 8pm today, Thursday and tomorrow, Friday with funeral after 11am Mass in St Brigid's Church Oldcastle on Saturday. Burial afterwards to the local cemetery. Donations if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation.May she rest in peace.
MULLEN, Frances (née Muldoon), late of Oldcastle, Co. Meath who sadly died one year ago on July 8, 2015. On the occasion of her First Anniversary, her children Siobhan, Patrick, Declan, Bairbre, Vincent and Niall, her sister Helen, brothers Declan and Fergus, sisters-in-law Ann and Lorraine and all our extended family wish to express our sincerest thanks and appreciation to all who supported us at the time of our sad loss. To the wider communities of Oldcastle and Kells and those who travelled from afar. To all who called to the house, attended Requient Mass in St. Brigid's Church and the funeral afterwards. To all who sent Mass cards and messages of condolences and to her amazing friends and neighbours who sustained us during this sad time. To Dr. Anne Marie Gilsenan, Donna McQuaid and their teams, Gibney's Undertakers and the Oldcastle GFC. To Fr. Ray Kelly PP, Fr. John Byrne, PP, Kells and Fr. Peter Gilsenan, to Carmel Hamilton and Martin Cahill, the singers and musicians and all who contributed so beautifully to her Requiem Mass. While it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we truly hope that this acknowledgement will show you our genuine appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be said for all your intentions. An Anniversary Mass for Frances will be celebrated in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 7pm.
