MCKENNA, (née McTiernan) (late of Sandycove, Co Dublin) December 28, 2021, peacefully & gracefully in the Blackrock Clinic after a short illness surrounded by her adoring children. Monica, beloved wife of the late Denis; loving mother of Neil, Lorraine and Yvonne. Sadly missed by her children, grandchildren Matt, Alex, Oscar, Louis and Arthur, daughter-in-law Lisa, sons-in-law Barry and Ken, her sisters and brother, nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. Monica’s Funeral will take place, according to current Government guidelines, on Monday (3rd January 2022) at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule and can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/glasthule followed by a private burial. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. “We are born of love. Love is our mother”.
