McGARRY, Sr Gertrude

McGARRY (formerly of St. Brigid's College, Ardagh, and Ard Michael Park, Longford, and late of Ballygeeher, Co Leitrim) - February 21, 2014, peacefully at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford, Sr. Gertrude, in the loving care of Ann Watters and all her staff, Dr. Sal Breslin and the Palliative Care team. Pre-deceased by her parents James and Mae and her brothers John Joe (Shane) and Micheál (Ciaran). Deeply regretted by her Mercy Community and sadly missed by her loving sisters, Sr. Maura Brid and Sr. Eileen, sister-in-law Ann, niece Muireann, nephews Fiachre and Shane, niece-in-law Róisín, grandnieces Aoife and Una, grandnephew Oscar, godmother Maureen, cousins, relatives and many friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing in the Nursing Home chapel today, Saturday from 2.00pm with evening Prayer Service at 5.30pm. Removal on Sunday to St. Brigid's Church, Ardagh, for Funeral Mass at 2.00pm.
