HAMMOND, Keith, (Dalkey, Co. Dublin) February 21, 2020, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the wonderful team at Blackrock Clinic. Loving husband to wife Kate and the late Jean Hammond. Beloved father to David, (big) Sophie, (little) Sophie, Lisa and Sallyann. Loving father in law of Leslie, Gavin, Mike, Barney and Rob. Adored grandfather of Ethan, Luke, Toby, Zoë, Tara, Jessica, Katie, Amy, Alice, Lily, Jack and India. Missed by his brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, godchildren, relations and friends. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, please to the Parkinson‘s Association of Ireland. Removal from his home this (Monday) morning to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving for 11.30 o'c Funeral Mass followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. May he Rest in Peace.

Dublin) Remembered with love on his First Anniversary (February 21, 2020) by his wife, Kate, and children, David, Sophie, Sophie, Sophie, Lisa and Sallyann, grandchildren, Ethan, Luke, Toby, Zoë, Tara, Jessica, Katie, Amy, Alice, Lily, India and Jack, his brothers and sisters in law and his extended family. We also remember Keith’s first wife Jean at this time. Our sincere appreciation to those who sent letters of sympathy, mass cards and to everyone that attended his repose at his home and his funeral, many of whom travelled long distances and donated so generously to the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland. A special thank you to Father Declan Gallagher and Dalkey Parish for celebrating Keith’s funeral Mass. We extend our appreciation to our soloist Elizabeth Wood, harpist Sinead Canny and organist Ronan Murray, for the beautiful music. Finally, our sincere gratitude to Fanagan’s Funeral Directors and to the flag officers and staff of the Royal St George Yacht Club for hosting the reception. We would like to acknowledge with sincere & heartfelt gratitude those who cared for him during his long battle with Parkinsons, particularly carers Marissa and Zane, the medical team at the Blackrock Hospital, the Blackrock Hospice, the Dalkey Medical Centre and Maxwell’s Pharmacy, Dalkey. We wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy, emotional and practical support, kindness and friendship from family and friends over the past year since his death.
