PATTERSON, Adaline (Addy), (née Redhouse), (late of Malahide), October 1, 2022. Unexpectedly. Beloved wife of the late John Patterson. Loving and ever-patient mother of Yvonne, Andrea, and Ian. Dedicated Lay Minister, Oxfam volunteer, and community activist. Fan of Star Trek, scotch, and fast cars. Predeceased by her brother William and son-in-law James. Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren Adi, Laoise, and Sadhbh; daughter-in-law Niamh; nieces and nephews; and extended family including her wonderful parishioners and many friends. Funeral service at 3.00pm on Monday (October 10) in Saint Columba's Church, Swords, Co. Dublin. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Andrea, Yvonne and Ian, I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Addy's sudden passing. Addy and John were dear friends of my late father, Tom Colgan, since the 1950's and through all the years since then. I always admired Addy and her energy and work ethic and I have such fond memories of her in 'the big huge yellow house' when I was growing up. Rest in Peace Addy.

I'm very sad to hear of Addy's passing. A good friend and distant relative. We had some good chats and laughs on Sunday mornings in Donabate. Andy will be sadly issued by all who knew her
