LENEHAN, Jimmy (Dalkey) - 13th August, 2022. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at the Cedar Ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin. Much loved and, for 58 years, devoted husband to Dara (née MacEllin). Adored father of Sinead (Reihill), Shira (Barnett), Thomas, James and Dara Lynne Lenehan. Lovingly remembered by his brother Paddy, sister Rosemary and pre-deceased by sister Frankie Masterson. Jimmy will be hugely missed by his daughters-in-law Clodagh and Aimée and son-in-law Peter; sisters-in-law Bernadette Lenehan, Rona Connolly and Aoibheann Donnelly, and brother-in-law Paddy Masterson. He will be specially remembered by all his grandchildren Eimear, Chrissie, Mark, Ali and JJ Reihill, Anoushka and Charlie Barnett, Catherine, Alice and James Lenehan, Lucie, Lauren, Andrew and Jilly Rose Lenehan. Rest In Peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Monkstown Crescent tomorrow (Tuesday) evening (16th August) from 5 pm to 6.30 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (17th August) to the Church of the Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Dalkey arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. On the First Anniversary of dearly beloved Jimmy’s death, Dara, and family - Sinead, Shira, Thomas, James and Dara Lynne - his sister Sr. Rosemary and brother Paddy, son in law, daughters in law and fourteen grandchildren, appreciate most sincerely all those who attended his reposing and funeral, and sent messages of sympathy - cards, letters and online tributes. Your thoughts and prayers kept us going over the past year.
Holy mass has been offered for your intentions as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Jimmy is thought of and missed every day by all who were lucky enough to experience his fun, warmth and kindness.
