DESMOND - Brigid (Biddy) (Greystones, Co. Wicklow. formerly Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford) July 21, 2023 Passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her nephew Michael. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters John, Chrissy, Mary, Dan and Mickey. She will be sadly missed by her beloved sister Philomena, sister-in-law Ann Marie Desmond, nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, many friends and neighbours. Brigid's remains will be received for prayers in The Holy Rosary Church, Greystones at 1.00pm today (Friday). Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady and St. Laurence’s Church, Fourmilewater, Co. Waterford at 12.00pm tomorrow (Saturday) followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery. Brigid's family would like to thank the medical staff at St Vincents and St Colmcille's Hospitals, the Community Palliative Care team at Wicklow Hospice, The Irish Cancer Society and the many Carers who have helped Biddy throughout the years.
