KEALY, Brian J. (St. Joseph’s Street, Limerick, late of Dundalk, Ireland, and Montclar, France) – August 7th, 2025, peacefully after a short illness, borne with characteristic strength and fortitude. Beloved husband of Dorothy McIvor-Kealy, loving father of Rachael, Rebecca, Adam, and Aharon, and father-in-law of Anthony Gaffney, Mike Ma, Lisa Healy, and Jennifer Clarke. Adored grandfather of Nicholas, Isabel, Arthur, Alexander, Charlotte, and Amelia. Deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues in An Garda Síochána, the University of Limerick, and many sporting associations. Requiem Mass (today) Monday (August 11th) at 11:30am in St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue, Limerick followed by cremation service at Shannon Crematorium, Clare at 2pm.
