BURKE Anthony (Tony), (Perrystown, Dublin 12), died January 18, 2014 - On this, the eve of his First Anniversary, Tony's wife Marjorie, and Anthony, Maryrose, Lorcan and Isabelle, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the death of Tony, a beloved husband, Dad and Grandad. Our thanks to the staff of Blackrock Clinic and Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, who looked after him during his illness. A special word of thanks to Dr. Fred Shackleton, Dad's GP for his kindness, care and support over the years. We would like to particularly thank Fr. Gerry Byrne and Liz Coyle for their wonderful care and support. Sincere thanks also to Fr. Paul Tyrrell and the priests of St Agnes Parish who visited Dad frequently during his illness and celebrated his funeral Mass. We thank our extended family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who attended the removal Service and funeral Mass and those who travelled long distances to be with us. We are very grateful to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy letters and messages of condolence and those who visited us during and since our bereavement. Your kindness, love and support have been a great comfort to all of us. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First anniversary Mass will be celebrated tomorrow 18th January at 12.30pm in St Agnes Parish Church. Tony was much loved.
