MONTGOMERY, (Goatstown, Dublin 14, originally Greenisland, Co. Antrim) - Dermot, suddenly and peacefully at home on Christmas Day, aged ninety-two. Loving and beloved husband of Jean for sixty-nine years. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his children Denise, Rory and Brigid, his grandchildren Gráinne, Johnnie, Lisa and Matthew, and his great-grandchildren Finn, Fergus, Gavin and Nola. He is also mourned by his son-in-law Don and daughter-in-law Gerardine, Gráinne's partner Luke, Johnnie’s wife Maeve, and Lisa's husband Brian, as well as by his wider family, friends and former colleagues at Trinity College, Dublin. As was his wish, his body has been donated for medical education to Trinity’s Department of Anatomy.
