CUNNANE, Edward Gabriel (Gay) (Terenure, Dublin and formerly Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, died, June 12, 2012) - Gay's wife, Mary and his children, Finola, Enda, Gaye and Aidan, sister Noreen and daughter-in-law, Dawn, together with our extended family, would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathized with us in our recent loss. We are grateful to all those who attended the funeral, travelled long distances, called to our homes, sent flowers, letters and cards, phoned and otherwise comforted us during this difficult time. Thank you to the staff at the Blackrock Clinic and to Fr Gerry Byrne for his support to Gay during his brief illness. Sincere thanks to Frs John Cummins and Aquinas Duffy and all of the concelebrants of the funeral Mass. We also thank the musicians and singers for their beautiful accompaniments to the church ceremonies. We warmly acknowledge Fanagan Funeral Directors in Kimmage for their kindness and professionalism. Finally, words cannot adequately express our gratitude to our friends, neighbours and colleagues for all their support. We hope that this notice will help reflect our appreciation and thanks to you all. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
