MURRAY - Louis - Our wonderful Louis left us at daybreak on June 17th 2025. We wish to acknowledge the love and support given to Louis and ourselves throughout his illness. In particular our sincere thanks to those who cared for Louis; Prof. Brian Mehigan, Prof. David Gallagher, Dr. Eoin Tiernan, Dr. Rachel, the Chaplains and his favourite nurses on the Nightingale Ward Blackrock Clinic. Our appreciation to Paddy and staff of Life Pharmacy Ballsbridge, the VHI nurses and delivery drivers, who were all so obliging. We are grateful to everyone who joined us for his Reposal and the Funeral Mass in Mount Argus. Fr. Joe gave Louis an uplifting and fitting send-off, our heartfelt thanks to him, the Concelebrants and Musicians for such a memorable ceremony. Louis did not let his illness define him, on the good days he was out the door to meet friends and work colleagues, his maxim in life always my glory was I had such friends, you turned up for him in strength and we loved hearing how your paths had crossed with his. Then he had Bradley Walsh, his stalwart on the bad days. Our families and friends have been a constant comfort to us through this painful year and we have appreciated every Mass card, letter or whatever gesture made. Louis is loved and missed every day, his wit, his puns, his quips We share some words he left for us: Waste no time in building your future in the amazing game we call life. Kelly, Anne, Ciaran, Jack, Eve and Hugo.
