MAHONEY James (Dundrum, Dublin) - Teresa and family, Aidan, Paschal, Enda, Elaine, Barry and Jim's sisters and brothers wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss. Those who sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards and all who attended his wake and funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to the members of An Garda Siochana, both retired and serving, and the Garda escort which helped in a big way the smooth running of the funeral cortege on such an inclement morning. To Fr. Joe Kennedy, Mount Argus and Canon Larry Dunphy who concelebrated his funeral Mass. To the people who cared for Jim during his illness, his G.P. Dr Paul McCormick, Dr Hughes and the Parkinson's staff of St. Vincent's Hospital. To the management and staff of Homecare Plus who provided care for Jim over a long period. To Marley Nursing Home where he spent his final days. To our friends in Stackstown Golf Club who attended in such large numbers and provided a guard of honour. To John Phelan who carried out all the funeral arrangements with dignity and professionalism. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
