HUGHES, Richard (Fr Patrick, OSA) - 27th. March 2024. (Dublin, Nigeria and Drogheda) - Peacefully, at St Augustine's, Ballyboden, in his 86th year. He was pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Josephine, brothers Nicholas and Pat, infant Patrick, and sister-in-law Margaret. Deeply regretted by his sisters, Sisters Laura OSA, Catherine RGS, and Mary FMA, sister-in-law Ailish, nephews, nieces, nephews-in-law, nieces-in-law, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family and friends, his Augustinian Confreres in Nigeria and Ireland, the wonderful Medical and Caring Staff in Ballyboden. Fr. Richard will lie in repose at St. Augustin’s Ballyboden on (Saturday) from 3 pm to 5 pm closing with evening prayer and on Sunday from 3 pm to 5 pm. May he Rest in Peace. Removal will take place on Monday 1st April from St. Augustine's, Ballyboden to St. Mary's Church, Julianstown, arriving for 11 am Mass. Burial afterwards in Moorechurch Cemetery.
