DEANE Bríd (née Savage) (Rathfarnham, Dublin) Bríd died suddenly but peacefully October 31, 2019. On her eighty-ninth birthday (April 11) her children, Cynthia, Ruth, Alyn, Janice and Joyce, together with her sister Lily, brother Peter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren send thanks to everyone who sympathised with us following the loss of our beloved Mam and Grandma. We greatly appreciate the kindness and support of our extended family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and all who attended the funeral ceremonies, sent cards, messages and letters to comfort us at a time of great sadness for our family. Our sincere thanks to the staff in St. James's Hospital who cared for Bríd so well in recent years, and who helped to make her final hours so peaceful and dignified. Thanks also to Terenure Home Care and to Rathgar Meals on Wheels for supporting Bríd, and to Fr. Martin Cosgrove and the parish team in Rathfarnham for the compassion and understanding they showed our family at a difficult time. Most of all, we are thankful for the blessing of Bríd's love for her family: we know that she is watching over all of us as we keep ourselves safe in these challenging days. We will honour her memory by being sure to "count our blessings" every day, as she showed us.
