BYRNE, John Vincent, (Dalkey, Co. Dublin), (Emeritus Professor of Electrical Engineering UCD), November 18, 2016 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of his home carers and staff of St. Michael's Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, surrounded by his family. John, dearly beloved husband of the late Anita, and brother of the late Irene and Ita. Dearly loved father of Hélène, John, Patricia, Oonagh and Justin. He will be sadly missed by his children, his daughter-in-law Noriko, sons-in-law Chris, Phil and Alex, grandchildren Orlagh, Seán, Oonagh, Eoin, Sinéad and Ailbhe, sister Marie, brothers Donald and Peter, his extended family and friends. Removal Monday (November 21) from his home to the Church of the Assumption, Dalkey, arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Tuesday after 10am Mass followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.May he Rest in Peace.
