CARSON, Dr. Mary Silvey (Late Dept. Of Chemistry, Trinity College, Dublin) - December 14, 2019. On this, our sister's 80th birthday, we, Joy (Fitzgerald) and John (Carson) and our families remember Mary with love. We acknowledge with awe the exceptional care she received in Gascoigne House Nursing Home and would like to thank all those who have supported us during the last four months since Mary's death. We are grateful to family, friends and colleagues who attended the funeral, wrote letters and left messages online. We thank, especially, her family in Adelaide Road Presbyterian Church, the minister Rev. Sam Mawhinney, organist Ken Gillanders, her elder Annie Patton and all the congregation who helped her so much in recent years.'With Christ, which is far better.'
