HOLMES, (nee Boland) Colette (Limerick) - August 22nd 2023, peacefully, at Milford Care Centre. Beloved wife of the late Dr. John A. Holmes. Dearly loved mother of Ken, Sue, Alan, Paul and the late Marguerite. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Sheila (Dearing, Vancouver), Patricia (Dowling, Dublin) and Deirdre (Bolger, Gorey), daughters-in-law Kathleen, Wendy and Catherine, her beloved grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and her wide circle of friends in Dublin, Limerick and throughout the golfing world. Predeceased by her brothers Paddy and Raymond. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street tomorrow (Thursday) (24th August) from 6pm to 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at Saint Peter and Paul's Church, Crecora on Friday (25th August) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

HOLMES - Colette (née Boland) (Limerick) Died August 22, 2023. On her First Anniversary, Ken, Sue, Alan, and Paul would like to thank all those who sympathised with us following Mum’s death. Special thanks to the wonderful team in Milford, to Mary Scully, Pauline O’Brien, and Dr. Dave Hannon for caring for and supporting Mum with such compassion. To Johnny Thompson and his team for all their assistance. To the members of Limerick and Lahinch Golf Clubs, and the Irish Ladies Golf Union for their tributes. To Fr. William Fennelly OSB, Canon John O'Shea and the Crecora parish team. And to the many who travelled to join us last August in celebrating Mum’s long life. A special mass has been offered as an expression of our thanks.

May she rest in peace.
