McDERMOTT - Angela (née Quinn) (Dartry ) (Third Annniversary, January 22) -
Tread lightly,
she is near. Under the snow.
Speak gently,
she can hear the daisies grow.
McDERMOTT - Angela (of Dartry, Dublin, formerly Blackrock) on her First Anniversary January 22. The family of Angela would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss. Her children Ramon and Michelle, her sisters Patricia and Sheelagh, her grandchildren, her ex husband Seamus, her daughter-in-law Ann, her nieces, her nephews and extended family Thank you. We were fortunate enough to celebrate her life with family and friends. We as a family are so grateful that she died as she wanted in her home surrounded by love. We are grateful that she had a traditional wake and funeral and it is with sadness we know how much she would have loved to have been with us celebrating her life. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and cremation and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Father Pat Donnellan and Monsignor John Boyle for celebrating her funeral mass.
A special thanks to Doctor Frank Clarke and the staff at Our lady’s Hospice, Harold Cross for their great care and support. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
God called your name so softly,
That only you could hear;
And no one heard the footsteps,
Of angels drawing near.
The golden gates stood open,
God saw you needed rest;
His garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
