DOUGLAS - James (Bray, Co. Wicklow) - On the first anniversary of Jamess death (August 9), his wife Eileen and the rest of his family would like to thank all those who sympathised with us in our bereavement: all those who sent messages of condolence, visited the house, or attended the funeral Mass. We gratefully remember the staff in St. Columcilles Hospital, Loughlinstown, and St. Vincents University Hospital, who took kind care of Dad during his last days. Always with us.
DOUGLAS, James, (Foxrock, Dublin), suddenly. Darling son of Peter and Colette, much loved brother of Stephen and Robert who sadly predeceased him. Brother-in-law to Niamh, adoring and adored uncle to Pearse, Nora and Constance. Sadly and deeply missed by his heartbroken family, his aunt Deirdre, uncles Chris, David and Allen, his cousins, his many friends and colleagues at home and abroad. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street on Sunday 25th August from 3pm to 5pm. James’ Funeral service will take place at St. Stephen’s Green Unitarian Church Dublin on Monday 26th August at 11am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Victorian Chapel, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Pieta House. “Rest In Peace Oh Beautiful Soul”
