LANE - Brian E., FRCSI, FRCSEd, FRCS, FACS (Castleknock, Dublin 15).

First Anniversary, 29 March 2026. Beloved and deeply missed by his wife Jean, daughter Louise, son Brian Jnr, brother Dermot and extended family. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who attended Brians lying in repose and funeral service, sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy, and posted tributes on RIP.ie. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Liam Grogan, the staff of the Bons Secours Hospital, Dr Faith Cranfield and the medical and nursing staff of St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown, for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Brian throughout his illness. We also wish to thank Professor Clive Lee and all of Brians colleagues and friends from the Department of Anatomy and Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland for their friendship and support. We are indebted to our wonderful neighbours and friends in Castleknock, whose continued kindness and support have meant so much to us during this difficult time.

Brian will be remembered at 10am Mass on 29th March in Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock.
